During the COVID-19 lockdown, SLHT chefs worked on a meaningful project. Using our available space at the Artisan Village, chefs grew local vegetables that are used in Sri Lankan dishes. 53 different fruit and vegetable varieties have been grown so far at the premise with ongoing expansions on the ground area. With the team spirit and by the painstaking involvement, Artisan Village is now an agricultural masterpiece!
In near future, guest will be able to visit our Artisan Village and pluck their own veggies with the guidance from our chefs. The landscape is kids friendly and rich in local biodiversity. Guest may also join at a cooking demonstration to see how these Sri Lankan delicacies can be prepared.
